Pizza on a Sunday

2

There is something about food that makes it unique. You like making food as much as you like eating it.  Sharing a pizza recipe my husband and I tried at home on a Sunday and which came out really well. What is the need to order a pizza when you can make your pizza and home and eat it too?

Stuffed Keema Pizza with SausageTopping

What you need:

For the stuffed pizza base: Chicken mince( keema), finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic, garam masala powder, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, white oil, refined flour, water, yeast, milk.

How to make:

Make nice soft dough out of refined flour, oil, salt, sugar and yeast mixed with little milk. Keep it aside for 10 – 15 minutes to set.

Meanwhile, make the stuffing ready with chicken mince, chopped onion, ginger, garlic and garam masala. Stir all the ingredients in a pan with little refined oil. Add salt, sugar and red chilli powder.

Then put this stuffing inside round dough balls and roll it round like a pizza base.food_2

Once these pizza bases are ready, put them on a hot tawa and fry both sides in little oil. Once done, keep them aside and get the pizza topping ready.

For the pizza topping  you need finely sliced onion , chicken / pork sausage slices, grated cheese, red chilli flakes, oregano, rosemary, parsley, salt and sugar.

Toss the above ingredients in a pan with little olive oil and keep aside.

Now on top of the pizza base put a little mayonnaise mixed with English mustard and honey. Lay the sausage and onion mix and grated cheese on top. Put microwave (convection) mode for 3 minutes and serve hot.food_2
